About Our Music Lessons
LESSONS
Private lessons are a one-on-one lesson, group lessons require 2 or more students (Guitar & Singing only). Parents or Guardians are welcome to accompany their child to the lessons or alternatively enjoy a well earned break. Lesson lengths vary from 30, 45 or 60 minutes. At the end of each year we offer each student the opportunity to showcase their talents in our end of year concert.
Piano is a great instrument to start on as all the notes are laid out in order. Learning to play the piano has been proven in being beneficial in brain development in children. This is why we think it is a great place to start a child on their musical journey.

It seems these days, everyone wants to be a rock star, and guitar would have to be one of the coolest instruments out there. It is also very portable, making it a very popular instrument to play. We teach many styles including pop, rock and blues. Guitar is a great instrument to play if one day you want to join a band.

ELECTRIC GUITAR, ACOUSTIC GUITAR & BASS GUITAR
SINGING
Our singing lessons are structured to help with pitch accuracy and breathing techniques. These are taught through singing exercises and then applied to songs that the students learn. We teach a range of styles in our singing lessons. We only offer private singing lessons.
Ukulele is a fun and easy instrument to start with. A great beginner instrument for young children and older beginners. Learning to play the ukulele can also help if you are wanting to play the guitar. It's also a very budget friendly instrument with new ukuleles costing less then $100.

We offer Flute lessons for all ages.
The flute is a complex instrument that relies heavily on breath and finger positioning to create the best sound. Every new flute player shares similar goals to learn notes and positions, read sheet music, and master melodies. It’s necessary to learn music theory, hand positioning, and how to breathe when learning to play your instrument.

FLUTE

We start drum lessons as young as 5 years old. Drumming helps with timekeeping, coordination, rhythm, memory and pattern recognition. Drumming is a full body activity so also provides exercise along with engaging both sides of the brain. And it's just a cool instrument to play.

We offer a Rockband Program for our students enrolled in private lessons. Students can audition for Rockband once they are proficient on their insturment. We offer 30 minute and 45 minute Rockband rehearsals. Bands then get to perform several times a year at festivals and concerts. It's a fun experience for students to play along with other students.
